I didn't understand your scenario. I thought someone did pickups EoT/SoT against you, which is why I went with 9 shots. It doesn't matter either way. And no, you won't stand a chance. You realize that the cloaker could have just decloaked and killed you with 9 shots anyway right? Attacking with pickups is almost always less effective than simply decloaking and shooting. So you would have died whether the pickup attack while cloaked ability was in the game or not. It sounds like ...

Cloakers are not too powerful. you just think like that because we were in a frantic and luckily: 1. there was quite a lot of active cloakers 2. not too many active bombers 3. lots of careless people leaving their ships out in the open In a real beta, there is Auto-Pilot, Sleep Tick, and 3 hour tur...

I liked the scans when entire legions were made of bombers. Made it easier to see them coming and get back in time before they destroy your home world in 5 turns.

With a (hopefully) more even spread of ship types now though, it would be nice to go back to the old system.

You guys know that it only counts active ships right? Everybody in vac mode is left off (and inactive ships after a certain number of turns I think). Only the graph seems to count total ships.

Are cloaked decoys working? I've gotten 4 in Ajaxus, but Ship Stats is saying I only have the 1 I just got now. Find it hard to believe 3 of them have been killed.

EDIT: Hm, seems like they disappear after 8 turns or so maybe? That's pretty short.

Didn't the game used to allocate pilots based heavily on the current number of actives (besides the start of the game, where it was random)? Seems odd that the Bors are still getting new pilots despite having 25 active ships compared to the Tibs 14.

Fwiffo, the idea is to encourage planet killing over point whoring. If you decide to spend 100 turns getting 7 cruisers over killing a planet, you should take the consequences of that action.
