Ive been playing for years so you think id have asked long ago....but does the speed of a ship really affect a darn thing? I was thinking like takes less damage, or gets hit less idk....

Yeah it does affect stuff, all the stats you can see on your ship stats page will do something. Speed helps both attacking and evading.

We should have some more obvious speed-related stuff, like fewer moves to do such and such..
