Preferred Targeting

if you have access to being LC or VC? you can select the preferred ship you want pilots to pick when they die or start the game.

i want to use this for targets on the scanners page. this way you dont have to use comms saying your switching targets 1000 times. you can simply put a *flag* on the target so pilots know thats the ship you want to target. obviously you would need to refresh screen though if you changed targets on there. but i think it would be a nice addition.

Hmm -- you make me think of something that would be nice.

In each Legion, there could be one "target selector" (choose whatever name you wish) and VC/LC can change that person at any time on the fly, but that person can deem a target choice in heated fast battles - not sure how this will add to lag, but would add to fun (maybe)

So on the shooting firing page, the Legion's choice of target for that battle could be selected. So in essence, the VC/LC would pick a target for each sector until it's destroyed or missing (not sure what it would show if the person cloaked) -- something to chew on.

This would also be nice for those folks who log in and log out fast --- hit VoxDei, sure, bang (x5), logout

Main and secundaire target flag sounds like a simple but a very good idea.

Yeah it's a nice idea - have them appear top of scans etc too.

well LN is something you have to reload, but if there was a flag on preferred target like there is for ship selection *its new cd * then final min targeting can be much smoother and more efficient
