Autopilot in same tick

Autopilot in same tick

Is there any good reason why we are not able to set autopilot in the same tick? I thought it would be very handy, or would it be unfair somehow?

I didn't put it in as I didn't want to over-power AP. Keeps some advantage for people who are active - they can jump later.

They already have that advantage considering the AP attempts to initiate the jump 30 minutes from end of tick :)
