Testing frantic / beta discussion thread

Been awhile since I played, especially as a bomber so I'm a little vague on bomber scoring.

For targeting a planet, I get 100 bonus points as a lvl 1 bomber regardless of damage (even if I do Zero).
If I remember correctly, I should get 200 points once I reach lvl 2, etc.

Is there any point at which I start getting any points in relation to the damage I am doing? Just curious, as I was suprised by the bonus points bit.

@ SW - Yeppo intentional - other change in this area is being able to see cloaked friendlies in your sector.

Oh, the other thing I was curious about is if the auto-rep feature is active. I'll find out eventually, but just curious so I could try and get a feel for current PDS settings.

One point regarding the autopilot thing is that it's not entirely clear as to whether the tick you select is the tick you will be hypering or the tick you will be arriving. Although, thinking about it, it does seem obvious. Basically though I don't think the explanation is entirely clear..

@ Bossk 1 - atm, from memory, I think it's 100 per level.
@ Bossk 2 - I think the auto rep is active. Get damaged and find out!

@ Guderian - any suggestion on replacement wording / which bit is unclear?

Seems the new messages icon that's supposed to be there at the lower part of the screen isn't working.

Not knowing how it works, I don't think it I know how to reword it.

That's my point, I think - that I'd need to experiment in order to learn how it works. The explanation doesn't work on it's own..
