huge disadvantage for legions slacking on getting cruisers/carriers tho. they cant attack even if they have a good lvl 5 fleet.. or want to try to level without defending HW.

I'd prefer to see something like a home world stat bonus, and perhaps a much smaller one for adjacent sectors. A defenders advantage to help out battered legions, more so than PDS which really does nothing to help when the fight is a mismatch.

Didn't Legions used to get a defense bonus?

And maybe turn the bonus off for the top legion point-wise, so that stuff like the current battles can still happen.

also a think i like to point out.

A thing that a lot of players really hate. and a lot of times a reason to not come back again that beta.
Loosing a big ship that say was 2 months of work.
1 time they miss a tick. And they see al that work and sleeples nights disapear in just a icecold msg that says your ship is destroyd..

To start al over agian is sometimes just to much for the players.
So why not give them a bit of the work back they have invested in there previous ship..

Say wen you get killed you get 20% of your points invested back into your new ship call it salvageds parts from you wreck
A lvl 5 ship 60.000 points would come back as lvl 3 with 12K points
A lvl 3 ship with 12.000 points comes back as lvl 1 with 2400 points
A 150K Cruiser comes back as a lvl 4 ship with 30K points

Good point, I like this idea, and I don't see any immediate problems with it.
