I have an HTC Wildfire. I downloaded the TVS Games app but it doesn't seem to recognise my user or password.

Is there a problem with the WAP service weith the new version or am I doing something wrong?

How are you guys accessing it via WAP/mobile web.

Tells me my login details are incorrect; they work perfectly well on the desktop though. Very frustating.

Username and password are case sensitive. Also your phone may be auto correcting text or adding a space at the end of input thinking you're going to add another word. Have a check for those things.

An alternative is to bookmark the login page: http://www.violetsector.com/login.php?u ... password=X Obviously change the X for your password.

If you figure out what was wrong, please post to help the next person.

The app is linked to the old website i was told, the browser link works ok but obviously depends on the phone mine has some hickups every so often i have the Sony Ericson Experia X10 and i cant see the navcom sept through the NCJ link.

I think ecvej needs to create a shiny new app, id volunteer but i have no idea how to go about it =]

What is the fundamental difference between WAP and GPRS? I India the operators offer net access via WAP at a highly moderate price as compared to GPRS. How is the working and access difference? Why are the rates almost 5 times for GPRS?

GPRS is a method your phone can use to connect to the internet - a type of radio wave. WAP is the protocol your phone speaks with when it is connected via a GPRS signal.

It sounds like your provider is mixing up the terminology. I imagine what they mean is GPRS is the fast signal and WAP is the slow one. You might not be able to load html pages with the WAP option - it could be just be old style WML pages which are rarely used any more.

Have you got a link to their website so we can check for certain?
