I noticed last beta after PK blew that the auto balance started autobalancing inactive, destroyed kril ships. One was listed as destroyed in rankings, showing ship type as a kril bomber, whilst also being listed as a Boraxian ship. The pilot also showed in Boraxian comms in all friendlies. Guessing the behaviour we want there is to not auto balance destroyed ships with no hw until the pilot logs back in again?

Good spot, thank you. There isn't an auto balance of destroyed ships, it does wait for people to login. I expect what happened is something like:

1) Kril player dies.
2) PK dies
3) Kril players logs in and game sets him as a boraxian. He doesn't like this and decides not to pick a new ship.

At this stage he is on the Borxian legion but still in his old destroyed ship as that doesn't get overwritten until he picks a new one. The solutions will be:

1) Create a "none" ship type or "Escape pod" that people go in when they die.
2) Don't display ship type for destroyed pilots.
3) Automatically put people joining a legion in a ship from that legion which gets overridden when they come back alive by choosing a ship.

I'm thinking either 1 or 2.

Extra trivia rankings added. Thanks chrisso909
All ships can now pickup scrap. This is part of a larger change toward making scrap a more important part of the game. Currently all ships have the same scrap limit but that may change.
Fighters et al now get points for bombing bases.
Reppers bonus points work as previously with the exception that they only apply if the target ship is of a higher level.

Thanks for the offer I have replied to the PM you sent me but for public reference I will do a post somewhere of things people can do to help if they're willing to pitch in.

Unfortunately we do get a lot of offers to help that vanish when we say yes. The classic example would be the mobile apps. I've lost count of the number of people who have promised to update the android app or make an iphone app and so far zero lines of code done

Please test the journal. In particular:

1) Does it save correctly in all browsers
2) Do special characters cause any errors

Did you build the android app in a framework? If so, which?

Added a redirect so that everyone now uses the https version of the site. Any issues then let me know before I make the change permanent.
